Prospecting Using Letters and Post Cards

Letters are a very personal way to do target market prospecting. Letters are typically a very well done standard form letter addressed to a specific person that inquires if they may have an interest in the Waiora products or business opportunity. Letters are an inexpensive way of prospecting - you can send letters for less than 45 cents each - the only major cost is the stamp. The other materials necessary are the paper and an envelope.

Letters can be targeted to your local area or you may want to target another community or city you visit regularly. Mailing 100 or so letters into a city you are planning on visiting will allow you to meet with prospects while you are in that city and do one-on-one presentations. This may even make part of your trip tax deductible!

Post Cards

An alternative to letters are postcards. These impactful and attractive tools are another inexpensive way to reach someone via mail. Post cards that have an intriguing picture and/or message on the front have been shown to have the most impact. On the back, you can put a couple of statements about your business - but be sure to leave room to write a note and sign it.
